Before Covid19 began, I was fortunate to photograph a beautiful elopement in my backyard along English Bay. Accompanied by their loved ones, [clients wish to disclose their names] M + C had an intimate ceremony in front of our infamous Inuksuk. It was quite windy but we managed to keep the hair out of our faces and witness a beautiful celebration of love. We then parted from family and made our way through Stanley Park to discover the lush forest and breathtaking seawall views. As a Vancouverite, I find you do take for granted sometimes the beauty of nature that surrounds us all the time. I got to visit some of my favourite spots and I discovered some new ones. Getting to spend time with couples one on one is such a joy - not only do you get the chance to know one another but I find I get to share a much more intimate bond with clients during elopements. You capture genuine emotions and pure joy between your couples. We first met only on the day of, and upon our meeting, before they said their I Dos, we found a common interest in our passion for food. It was such a lovely time spent with M + C. Enjoy these gems!
